We Predict What The Royal Baby Will Wear…And Secretly Wish It Came In Our Size

Whether Kate Middleton has a boy or girl (looks like it’s going to be a d-), we’re sure about one thing — it will be one of the best-dressed babies ever.
Just a few weeks ago, we attended the inaugural Global Kids Fashion Week in London (hosted by the Net-A-Porter of childrenswear, AlexandAlexa), along with some of the city’s chicest tots and their moms.
“We wear designer clothes so why can’t our children?” asked Brit model Portia Freeman. The Fall 2013 show featured 51 adorable looks, including Oscar de la Renta, Marc Jacobs, Paul Smith, and Kenzo, as well as music by DJ Amber Le Bon. “Actually, I can’t wait to see what Kate Middleton dresses her child in. The royals are just so cool. I think she is going to do a real mixture of everything,” said Freeman, who was holding her three-year-old son, Dylan.
Louise Nichols, editor in chief of Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, was also taking bets on the baby’s look. “Well, firstly, I am super grateful I am not pregnant at the same time as her because believe me, I was 10 times her size, so it’s nice not to have that comparison,” she said, holding her five-month-old, Leo. “I remember a lot of matching outfits when William and Harry were growing up. I think some very traditional English dressing with very preppy, tweed looks will happen for sure.”
We decided to make some predictions on our own for the royal baby since Kate’s got a few more options than just Baby Gap and OshKosh B'gosh (what we had to wear). Here, some of our top picks from the fall show. If it’s a girl, she’s got to have Chloe. Too bad they don't all come in big kid sizes as well.
