While most of us were unpacking our shorts and sandals yesterday in celebration of the new warm weather, Olivia Palermo, Hilary Rhoda, and Emmy Rossum were dusting off their formalwear for New Yorkers For Children's annual spring dinner dance — and getting ready to party like it's a summer Friday. The night of bidding and 'gramming, dancing and tweeting, posing and posting was held in a cherry blossom-filled ballroom on top of the Mandarin Oriental hotel. Aside from breath-taking views of the city's first real spring day, the room boasted get-on-your-feet-and-dance tunes, an auctioneer in couture, and touching speeches by student ambassadors of the worthy program — which helps to benefit youth in foster care.

But, on to the best part: the dresses. The Valentino-sponsored soiree showcased some seriously on point looks. Nicole Trunfio, Alina Cho, Martha Hunt, Nicky Hilton, and Crystal Renn all sported the designer's threads, while Lindsey Wixson, Eniko Mihalik, and Oh Land stunned in Gabriela Cadena dresses.
