With the recent launch of an optical collection and the opening of a home goods store, observers might have assumed Steven Alan had just used up his best ideas. But the curator of cool has yet another trick up his sleeve.
The downtown designer is teaming up with online luxury-fashion resale community Material Wrld to present the first retailer-hosted clothing-swap party ever. Eighty sellers are confirmed to display their pre-owned contemporary, luxury, and vintage pieces for all to see. With hors d'oeuvres served by Plated, complimentary refreshments from Tiger Beer, and Mike N Willie's food truck waiting for you right outside, the event is sure to set a hard-to-beat standard for all future clothing swaps.
