Besides your LBD, your LWT (Little White Tee, that is) should be the next most versatile piece in your closet. It’s the go-to, no-trouble, quick-and-simple piece that saves your style reputation when your creative juices are slow on the flow that Monday (or Tuesday, or Wednesday) morning.
Artist Nate Lowman chose to use this closet chameleon in his latest piece of work: a collaboration with Jason Wu for the Young Friends of ACRIA, an organization pioneering in HIV/AIDS education and research. The product? A white tee turned piece of art.
This limited-edition T-shirt has a relaxed, unisex fit complete with Lowman’s signature bullet hole. Wu said it's “super exciting to collaborate with someone as talented as Nate Lowman on such a worthy cause,” and priced at $175, it won’t cost you as pretty a penny as one of Lowman's other works (or a FLOTUS-approved Wu gown, for that matter).
The shirt is available on the Jason Wu site right now, with all proceeds benefitting the ACRIA foundation.
