Is Tracy Anderson’s Food Delivery Service The Answer To Our Lazy-Girl Prayers?

We love healthy food, but we don't always have the time — nor the will — to prepare fresh meals and snacks for ourselves. We want to want to cook every night, but honestly, after a long day, we're more drawn to takeout than that labor-intensive bag of uncooked veggies in the fridge. We've always been intrigued by food programs that involve super-healthy meals shipped to one's doorstep, but have a long list of questions about how that works: Is the food really good? Is it actually healthy? How much more expensive is it than buying our own groceries, and is it worth it?

So, we were thrilled to read this in-depth review of The Food Program by Tracy Anderson on POPSUGAR Fitness. Get ready to embrace your inner food voyeur, because this article breaks The Food Program down meal by meal, snack by snack, with thoughts and feelings about the quality and taste of each. We were definitely surprised at how delicious it all looks. From snacks like pomegranate yogurt with pumpkin seeds to meals that include miso-ponzu-glazed tuna steak with asparagus, green tea kelp noodle, and yellow peppers — you can bet we're drooling. And, at an alleged average of 1150 to 1400 calories per day, you could do a lot worse.
The only part of The Food Program that makes us hesitate is, of course, the price. At around $50 a day, it's certainly not cheap eats. But, then again, it appears that you get what you pay for: gourmet, tasty, healthy meals with no effort involved. Check out the article and let us know what you think. Worth it, or no?
