ESPN’s 2013 Body Issue Is Here, Get Ready To Bow Down

For some, the biggest thing to happen in sports editorial might be Sports Illustrated's swimsuit edition, but for us, it's ESPN Magazine's Body Issue. For the fifth year in a row, the world's top athletes have shed their uniforms for their birthday suits. It's okay to ogle, ESPN wants you to.
What we love about these images is that they go beyond the panache of editorials, transcending from pictures to photographs, highlighting and defining what it means to be an athlete, to work hard, and live your passion. These athletes have pushed their bodies to the limits like a musician would an opus. And best of all, the nudity is not gratuitous; it's calculated, and it's tasteful. It's there not so dudes can look at boobs, but to showcase the physical manifestation of years of hard work. It's a living, breathing resume! The full Body Issue hits stands this week, but for now, check out a sneak peek here. (ESPN)
