Get Acquainted With Our Latest Bauble Obsession: Elaine B Jewelry

As much as we cherish our eye-popping, over-the-top statement jewelry, we're currently coveting a more streamlined, minimalist aesthetic when it comes to our baubles. So, when we discovered Charlottesville-based jewelry designer Elaine Butcher (by way of Topaz + Arrow, to give props where they're due), we were instantly smitten.
Butcher's love for airy, simple, three-dimensional shapes manifested into a collection of earrings, bracelets, and necklaces, dubbed Elaine B. The Denver native and VCU grad makes every piece herself, by hand, in a studio in downtown Charlottesville, but she's garnered plenty of fans in the D.C. area. And it's clear why: A hexagonal gold ring strikes the perfect balance between understated and interesting, while a necklace of 3D cubes feels elegant, yet thoroughly modern. We got a chance to chat with the designer and discuss her work, her future plans, and what she'd do with a dream day — prepare to be inspired!
