Coolest Use Of Instagram Ever: In God We Trust’s Collection Preview

Our love for Brooklyn design heavyweight In God We Trust (@ingodwetrustnyc) knows no bounds –– we’re as much in awe of the brand’s quirky vintage-modern clothing designs as we are with the went-viral “sweet nothings” engraved necklaces. And, we’re particularly stoked about the brand’s latest venture, which happens to be one of the more creative lookbook-like things we’ve seen yet. Over the course of July, IGWT has been rolling out a sneak preview of their fall collection through a daily Instagram posting.
A collaboration with Brooklyn-based media company ApK, the pics feature pieces for dudes and ladies alike from the fall 2013 collection, lovingly placed atop paper-doll-like drawings. It’s been fun to see not only peeks at the wares (think modern urban pieces, like an emerald-green snake-print dress or a poppy-red button-clad sheath dress) but also the quirky cartoon characters they envision wearing IGWT goods. We love In God We Trust’s regular Instagram feed, too –– chock full of cute pups and clothes –– but this innovative use of the medium is everything. Click through to peep what you’ve missed and keep up with their new posts through the end of the month.
