We’re constantly adding to our running list of glad-we-call-S.F.-home reasons, and sitting pretty near number one is Levi’s. Yep, we’re proud the blue-jeans powerhouse hails from this city, and is always on the forefront of innovative denim designs to boot. And, the company just stepped it up big time with a shiny-new flagship revamp that changes the Market Street retail game and puts the former Union Square outpost to shame.
Completely altering the feel (every nook in the store feels like a mini boutique) by keeping the space wide open and one level, the 7,000-square-foot venue is a charming beacon of Levi’s coolest elements, intermixed with enviable art — from neon lights to indigo-dyed wall hangings — all by Bay Area artists. Levi’s really kept it hyper local, even sourcing all the wood for the displays from Northern California. What’s more, this new shop will be one of the only to get an in-house tailoring spot! We’re such lucky ducks.
