Free time is awesome, but we must admit, sometimes our Saturdays feel more rut-like than relaxing. However, this weekend, brunch lounge-abouts and leisurely marketplace strolls can wait until Sunday. The R.O.C. is in town to make tomorrow anything but run-of-the-mill — and we’re pumped. The crazy 5K race promises 11 game-show inspired obstacles and countless wipeouts. Training is pretty futile, so team up with your buds stat to get started on designing some rad uniforms.
No one is keeping time, but the Aqua Drag, World’s Largest Moon Bounce, Belly Flop Drop, and Wrecking Ball will certainly help you work up a sweat. If not, you’ll definitely work those abs as you laugh your butt off watching friends face plant.
Don’t forget, the silly event aids in the serious fight to end chronic homelessness in D.C by benefiting Miriam’s Kitchen. Morning slots are already sold out, so take this opportunity to warm up and race to register for a good cause tomorrow afternoon here.
