If you're anything like us, you like to creep on fancy apartment listings. No, seriously. We love to look at the amazing lofts, studios, and generous abodes of Manhattan and pine for the day we can actually (fingers crossed) live in one of them. That's why this new listing on Airbnb caught our eye: Situated on Crosby Street in Soho, you can now rent the former loft of artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. Oh, and Madonna stayed there when she was working on her debut album. No big deal.
With two bedrooms and 2,330 square feet, this loft was Basquiat's home during the height of his career in the early '80s. The loft also boasts a huge kitchen and tons of natural light. And at $650 a night, we're seriously considering gathering a couple of girlfriends for what could be the best staycation ever. Did we mention Madonna lived here? Click through for some serious apartment envy.
