Va Va Voom! Anna Kendrick Bares It All On GQ

Let's just start this off by saying: "Wow!" Anna Kendrick can really glam it up, huh? The Pitch Perfect star (and "Cups" singer, of course!) shed her girl-next-door image to vamp for the latest issue of GQ, and we're pretty darn impressed. Kendrick mugged for the camera and took some time to chat about her latest role in Drinking Buddies, in which she plays one half of an alcoholic couple.
The petite actress offered up tidbits about everything from her favorite brews (hint: Belgian-style), to what it's like to be hit up for autographs while holding underwear. GQ captured it all on a charming little video, and we spent most of it being completely charmed by her adorable nature. But, we were tripped up by one comment she made. While discussing the awkwardness of first dates, she stated "Paying on a first date is a tricky thing because even though it’s meaningless, if a guy doesn’t, or doesn’t offer, it suggests poor judgment more than anything else."
Our first reaction was to be a little bit troubled — in this day and age, we thought that things like "the man always pays" rules were more than outdated. But, on further thought, we can see her point about still wanting your date to offer. As self-assured as we can all be, it's not the worst thing in the world to be with a guy who cares about manners. Tell us what you think: Do you agree that guy should always offer to pay, or is that a tradition from another time? (GQ)
