Lady Gaga Penned A Love Song To Donatella Versace

Thank you notes simply don't exist in Lady Gaga's world. Instead, one shows gratitude through fashion homages, embodying the persona of your idol, and penning a major pop song.
Gaga recently revealed that her ode to Donatella Versace will be among ARTPOP's other tracks on her upcoming November release. "It’s about being a fearless female and not caring what people say about you — being proud of who you are and walking the walk no matter what," she said in a statement to Just Jared. Gaga claims it's a "love letter," but "an incredible crazy fun pop" love letter; there's no gushing in the Haus of Gaga.
She's not the first to hop on the designer-praise wagon, though. Jay Z did it with "Tom Ford," and Kanye basically name drops designers every hot second he can. "Donatella" (an obvious song title), however, is "not so much about Donatella as a brand as it is about Donatella the person," Gaga explained. Versace digs it, too. She praised the singer for her "super bitchiness," and went on to say, "I am honored to be her friend and of course I love the song!" Sounds like we've a theme song for Versace's movie on our hands.
