The Duck Dynasty Clan Now Makes Prom Dresses. Seriously.

America is in love with Duck Dynasty. Last month, the A&E reality show about a family of duck-call makers made television history with its season four premiere. 12 million viewers tuned in, making it the most-watched nonfiction telecast ever. But why stay satisfied with what you know? The clan is now branching out from its reality TV confines. On Monday, Sadie Robertson, the 16-year-old daughter of Duck Dynasty patriarch Willie, made her runway debut during the Evening by Sherri Hill presentation at New York Fashion Week. But, this wasn't just some exercise in model stunt-casting. The young Robertson has actually teamed up with Sherri Hill on a new line of "daddy-approved" prom dresses, available for Spring 2014.
On the runway, Sadie showed off a black-and-white polka dot gown and a knee-length gold number, both modestly designed. The line itself, called Sadie Robertson Live Original, is intended for the demure teenager or her reticent parents — thus Robertson's "daddy-approved" descriptor. We're not hating her look, actually.
