Oh, Alex. We've been conflicted about whether you're the best or the worst, but we know that Orange Is The New Black wouldn't be the same without you. Sadly, we'll have to deal, because Buzzfeed reported today that Laura Prepon will only be returning for a single episode of the second season.
While her reps have yet to confirm anything, rumors have been swirling about Prepon's contract, which only locked her in for a year. (Buzzfeed initially reported a rumor that she was not coming back at all, though Netflix later denied it.) At that time, officials gave the ominously vague statement that "our season is still developing and nothing is confirmed." It looks like they reached an agreement and got her to sign on for one wrap-up episode, but that's it. Just how they adjust the plot to get her out of the show remains to be seen, but we're thinking maybe Healy will have her transferred due to "lesbian activity." Let's just hope she doesn't get shanked by one of Pennsatucky's crew. (Buzzfeed)
