We're still reeling from Lady Gaga's recent trip to Oz on
Good Morning America
, but now we're seeing the performer in a whole new light. Gaga graces the cover of Elle's October 2013 issue, and her make-under is nothing short of breathtaking. Need proof? MSN Glo is offering up a a behind-the-scenes peek at the final undoing, and we can't look away.
While the glossy's cover touts the expected dramatics (think a multi-colored wig), the inside shots are soft and feminine: Elle's styling team left Gaga's hair and makeup as natural as possible, and played up her elegance with all-white ensembles and elegant pieces courtesy of Chanel and Versace. Photographer Ruth Ogben shot the star in a private (and opulent) Long Island estate, and couldn't help but rave: "It was elegant, intimate," she told Glo. "Gaga has incredible features that you could stare at all day long." We certainly can't argue with that sentiment; while we wouldn't want Gaga to completely lose her quirky luster, we definitely wouldn't be mad if this new look was here to stay. (MSN Glo)
