Erickson Beamon has long been on our radar, but building a wardrobe of its pricey pieces hasn't quite happened yet. So, when we heard that the luxe jewelry brand had launched a lower-priced line, we thought we'd struck gold. But, little did we know we'd soon have all the more reason to treat ourselves to one of their signature bejeweled baubles: In partnership with Beauty.com, Erickson Beamon has created a limited-edition line of hair accessories to benefit GEMS, a non-profit dedicated to serving victims of human trafficking.
The "Gems for GEMS" effort is in full swing, with four barrettes designed specifically for the cause. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to GEMS (Girls Educational and Mentoring Services) to support the group's efforts to raise awareness and provide support for young women who have been the victims of sexual exploitation or domestic trafficking.

We're partial to any charity that looks out for women and, on a more frivolous note, are always looking for something eye-catching to put in our hair. So, for us, it feels like the stars have aligned: After all, giving back is a beautiful thing.
Erickson Beamon Tropical Punch Butterfly, $130, available at Beauty.com.
