We pop in our Dawson's Creek DVDs on a weekly basis, so it's only natural that Jen Lindley Michelle Williams would want to take a walk down memory lane, too. It's been over ten years since she took on said role, but it seems like the actress is just as connected to the real-life Capeside as she was during the show. According to Us Weekly, the actress recently took her daughter Matilda back to where it all began, for a tour of the Wilmington, NC locale where they shot the Creek.
As she revealed in an interview with The New Yorker's David Denby over the weekend, it meant a lot to show little Matilda around the place she once called home. "I actually hadn't been back since the show ended," she said. "But I went back and took my daughter on vacation and saw people I hadn't seen in 10 years and went all the places that we used to go." In our humble opinion, seeing Williams and her daughter in the Cape is pretty much a fan's biggest dream.
The actress didn't mention any more details about the trip, but we certainly have our own fictional agenda of where we hope they went. First, they'd swing by ol' Capeside High, followed by the Potter B&B. Then, it's off to Leery's Fresh Fish for a bite, and a stroll through the secret garden where Pacey and Tamara had their illicit affair — they'd finish up the day at Gram's house, naturally. Sure, there's no chance the day unfolded as such, but a girl can dream, right? (Us Weekly)
