UPDATE: Isabel Marant described her upcoming H&M collaboration as all the clothes she usually packs in her bags on trips. "If I lost my luggage, I'd be screwed," she said, and it's a similar sentiment we felt about the collection. A veritable hit-list of Marant's best pieces, the collection is so awesome, you'll feel like you're losing out on something huge if you don't buy it. "Ugly" sweaters, leather trousers, printed blouses, and well-cut sweaters dominate the collection, and a great smattering of jewelry, belts, and scarves round out the collection. Be forewarned: The prices are slightly higher than what you're used to spending at H&M, but the quality is also elevated. The silk scarves feel like they're worth at least 10 times what they cost, the felt coats are velvety (not scratchy), and the canvas sneakers will last you longer than a season. Inexpensive, they are not, but for those of us who can't afford Marant's regular prices, these are a great (and not shoddy!) alternative. If you tend to blush when ridiculously good-looking people stare straight at you, well, then prepare to get rosy. All the images of the Isabel Marant for H&M campaign are out, and they're seriously stunning. Lou Doillon, Saskia de Brauw, and Daria Werbowy — who debuted the anticipated campaign — are among the models up front and center. And, with less than a month until the collection drops on November 14, these new black-and-white photos capture the cool, chic essence of the Isabel Marant label with ladies wrapped in cozy knits and quilted jackets. Speaking of which, it's time we get to creating those wish lists. Jump ahead to view the full campaign.
