After a whole week of NYFW presentations, parties, and shows last month, the endless parade of heels, runway music, and even clothing started to blur together. But amidst all that commotion, there were a few up-and-coming shows that stuck out. One of them was Tia Cibani's spring '14 presentation. Her Frida Kahlo-inspired, confetti-filled party box of a show not only solidified Cibani — who used to serve as creative director of Ports 1961 — as one of NY's style game changers, but also brought the fun back into all that fashion. So, we had no choice but to follow up with an exclusive tour inside her design studio to pick her brain about how to pull off color, where to shop in NYC, and, of course, what to expect come fall '14. If it's anything like what we've seen so far, we might as well just pre-order it right. Now.
