Another day, another set of updates for life's inextricable technologies. Yesterday, Apple released its latest operating system, OS X Mavericks, for free during its iPad Air event. While it doesn't have one of the cat-themed names we've come to love from operating systems' past, it does pack in a number of new features that you might've missed between yesterday's hardware hoedown. Among those are a new tagging feature for organizing all of your files, Finder tabs, improved Notifications, and more. It'll even give your battery some breathing room, too. Mavericks, by the way, is free for all Apple users to download now. Just head to the App Store to update, but not before you see what's coming.
