10 Years Of Viral Pop Cultural Costumes

Remember last year? We hardly do. So much has happened since then, from hurricanes to sharknados to twerkquakes, that we can't recall if 2012 even existed. (Spoiler: It did not.) So, whatever celebrity-inspired, YouTube-featured costume was deemed "hot" that year has been lost to the annals of time, dumped at the very bottom of a Ricky's discounted Halloween bin.

Taking a look at pop culture costumes from last year, two years ago, and even ten years back is a strange, bizarre trip through time. Chilean miners? Ali G? Psy? We're betting that most of these are not going to be reprised any time soon — which makes them all the more fun to reflect upon.
