One of the more redeeming qualities of the Twilight franchise was the film's stellar soundtracks. It doesn't matter how good or awesomely bad the movies themselves were, their sonic accompaniments were (and still are) fabulous stories. The same rings true for The Hunger Games sounds.
We are a little over a week away from the official release of Catching Fire's soundtrack, and while songs aren't leaking left and right like a certain pop star's were, they're still chances to get a taste. Sia's Weeknd-assisted Diplo-produced track along with Coldplay's "Atlas" were among the first to surface with The National's contribution being the latest. "Lean" is the mellow non-anthemic sibling to "Elastic Heart." It's a welcome addition to what's shaping up to be one of the better albums this year. As if we needed any more proof, Republic Records released a five-song sampler featuring Of Monsters And Men, Santigold, and Ellie Goulding's tracks. Consider it the next best thing to the actual album.
