Lady Gaga simulated sex on live television with R. Kelly this weekend. Had it been, say, Taylor Swift, the world would've probably been set aflame. But, it's Lady Gaga, the woman who bestowed upon us the not-so-nuanced line "I want to take a ride on your disco stick." Regardless, she added another headline to her well-notched belt with the performance of "Do What U Want" on
Saturday Night Live.
Amidst Michael Jackson gyrations and "with my bo-day(!)" guttural yells, Gaga laid her Versace-donned self down on stage, and R. Kelly did, er, push-ups over her. It must have been an arms day for the R&B star. By the grace of Gaga, we are all still here, Twitter and all. Thank God Lena Dunham was on the scene. Her ever-poignant commentary was on-point this weekend.
