Are These Some Of The Coolest Christmas Sweaters Of The Season?

You know the drill. Come Christmas, wacky wear is acceptable and a total conversation starter. But, if like us, sporting a festive sweater scares the bejesus out of you, you’re in for a treat this season. To celebrate Christmas Jumper Day on December 13 (yes, it’s a thing), fashion’s leading pack has transformed the humble holiday sweater into the coolest coverup of the festive season, all in the name of charity.
Fourteen British fashion designers have partnered with Save The Children, in conjunction with Westfield and The British Fashion Council, to create a unique collection of seriously lust-worthy Christmas jumpers. We’re talking exclusive, one-off knits by household fashion names, including Mary Katrantzou, Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, Burberry, Paul Smith, Giles Deacon, House of Holland, Jonathan Saunders, Matthew Williamson, Peter Pilotto, and Sibling, all hand-knitted by fashion brand Wool and the Gang.
After raising funds for the charity through a public auction, the designer jumper collection goes on display at Westfield London from today, until January 5, 2014. Whether you have your eye on Burberry’s quintessentially British backdrop of London landmarks or Sibling’s adorable Christmas tree animation, we challenge you to resist these snug beauties.
