Madewell’s Styling Director Rocks Dirty Hair, Makes Us Reconsider Shampoo

Well, file this away as more proof that even the most stylish dames can be lazy girls at heart. Lisa Schulner, styling director at Madewell, has admitted to HuffPost Style that she only washes her hair once a week — and, apparently, her hair is all the better for it.
According to Schulner, it's her hair texture that dictates her scrubbing schedule. "With curly, wavy hair like mine, 'dirty' seems to suit it best," she explains. When she does lather up, she keeps it simple with an organic, multi-use cleanser (Schulner likes Dr. Bronner's organic peppermint soap).

It seems that Schulner is onto something with her low-maintenance routine: Between the rise of the dry-shampoo craze and the increase in popularity of low- and no-poo washes for curly hair, daily scrubbings seem to officially be a thing of the past. And, hey, we'd say that suits us lazy girls (and our locks) just fine.
