Whether it leaves you feeling relieved or remorseful, Art Basel has finally come to a close. And, in what is quite possibly the rudest awakening of the century, fashion and art folk alike have left sunny Miami for the snowy real world. So, it's with chilled bones (and a bit of a leftover buzz) that we take a look back at some of the best, sun-soaked events from this weekend's Art Basel.
There was a rooftop rager to fete Calvin Klein, a beachside day party for Issa, and a Frank 151 mansion takeover-turned-pizza-party that, well, we're not sure anyone remembers.
There were also more pop-ups than we can name, as fleeting as suntans. The much in-demand Webster collaborations come to mind, as does the satellite late-night spot, Westway, which took over a dark nook off of Collins for the weekend. Of course, like the newly opened restaurant Michael Mina 47 at Fontainebleau, some good things are here to stay as the new staples of this annual art-world blowout.
Equally impressive? The outfits that held their own in the 80-degree weather — and still managed to bring that artful flair. Flip through for body-con dresses that don't take things too far, edgy evening looks, and some of the cutest snaps of the weekend.
