Clarisonic Introduces The “Cashmere Cleanse”

The cult of Clarisonic is both well-established and serious in its devotion. (Many a loyalist has described the cleansing brush as "life-changing." We wouldn't argue otherwise.) Now, there's a new reason for fans to worship at the altar of Clarisonic: a three-piece collection of luxury brush heads. The brand describes the Luxe brushes as "a symphony of performance and comfort," but we're calling them just plain fancy. (One is called Cashmere Cleanse. 'Nuff said.)

The new brush filaments are incredibly soft, and longer to boot. Think of petting a baby bunny or a Maine Coon kitten and you're in the right arena of texture. At first glance, this might seem like one of those indulgent, feels-good-but-does-nothing developments. Not so. The brushes perform differently, too: In a clinical study, skin cleansed with the Luxe brush heads was almost 9% more hydrated than the baseline.
