We'll never tire of settling into a perfectly made butt-groove on our couch and watching Elf for the umpteenth time. No matter what others say, it's a holiday classic through and through, but CineFix's 8-bit version of the film might just take that title away.
Okay, so it doesn't do the movie justice entirely, but it is all sorts of adorable nonetheless. It's got the important stuff — Papa Elf telling Buddy he's actually human, Buddy going to New York City to find his dad, Buddy going through the revolving doors a million times and eating gum from the subway staircase, and yes, Buddy and his brother Michael saving Santa's sleigh.

The video is a bit more than two minutes, which is perfect for those who haven't seen the movie. The pixelated images and video game tunes are cute and bring back memories of button-mashing on our Sony Sega, but we can see how that'll get old really fast for others. The only thing that would make the video better is if the creator included Buddy and Jovie singing "Baby It's Cold Outside." Guess you can't win 'em all.
Now, who wants spaghetti with maple syrup, sprinkles, and marshmallows?
