What We Loved About D.C. In 2013 (& What We Didn’t)

This year brought lots of change to the District — and we mean lots of change. New stores, restaurants, and bars elevated the DMV's status as an after-hours playground. But, tragedy brought us back to reality. The Supreme Court gave us a summer of love and the fall was the season of the start-up. Heck, not even a government shutdown in between could put a damper on things.

Obviously, we're feeling a bit nostalgic, given that 2014 is just a few weeks away. So, we've taken some time to reflect on 2013 and what we've experienced, collectively, in the nation's capital these last 12 months.
