All Of Pre-Fall ’14’s Best Looks, From Bold-Printed To Boxy

"Pre-fall" isn't exactly the clearest of terms. After all, what is it if not, well, summer? However, as the ready-to-wear collections for the in-between season have begun to trickle in over the past couple of weeks, they've proved that pre-fall truly deserves a spotlight of its own.

These lines are short, sweet, and make a point that's a bit different from the larger designer collections we see at Fashion Week. And, with each new lineup, what we've most noticed is an extra nod to sartorial adventure. Labels like Thakoon Addition play around with huge, body-wrapping knits; Altuzarra, in its first pre-fall collection, tests out every way to slit a skirt; and rag & bone went sporty — scrunchies included.
