Yep, you read that correctly. According to Page Six's pro snoopers, producer/screenwriter Aaron Sorkin has been spending QT with none other than Hole frontwoman Courtney Love. (Sorkin is probably best know around these parts for creating The West Wing, and he's also responsible for The Social Network, the HBO series The Newsroom, and a bounty of other brainy-drama projects.) While Page Six reports — via an unnamed source, obv — that their relationship is the real deal and that Love seems to think they have an Arthur Miller/Marilyn Monroe thing going on, Sorkin's rep denied that the two are dating.
The two have reportedly been hanging out in L.A. while Love is camped out at Chateau Marmont. But, we're going to go out on a limb and say that their connection might be more business than pleasure. After all, Sorkin has a history of basing his on-screen characters on previous girlfriends. And, in terms of characters, it doesn't get more interesting than Courtney Love, right? Coupled with the rep's insistence that the two aren't dating, it seems like a pretty reasonable explanation. But, you never know. According to her Facebook page, Love has big plans for 2014 (hints of a Hole reunion, for starters), so a fresh, grown-up romance could be one of them. (Page Six)
