Rachel Comey Just Gave Your Camper Shoes A HUGE Makeover

When you cross Rachel Comey's laid-back cool with Camper's taste for comfort, the result is sure to instantly make anybody's covet list. But, the pair's recent collaboration has shot straight to the top of ours. For spring '14, the duo focused on reworking the slip-on sandal to meet comfort and fashion-forward standards. Now, tapping into Comey's vintage aesthetic and subtly feminine detailing, the rubber stepper has morphed into a chic piece appropriate for occasions beyond the shower.
Following Camper's previous collaborations with Jasper Morrison and Maria Blaisse, among others, the New York designer is the latest to team with the Spanish footwear brand. The resulting shoe comes in three color options: white, black, and a red-hot shade. Comey took the basic silhouette and added an embroidered floral motif made from raffia. An eyelet-like design outlines the handmade pattern on top of each shoe, enhancing the personality of the classic, warm-weather slip-on. Available in April and priced at $210, these open-toed sandals already have us craving the beach, pedicures, and sundresses. So, click on to take your first look at the styles, straight ahead. It's never too early to dream for summer, right?
