H&M Used Your Old Clothes To Create This Denim Line

Well, it seems those H&M I:Collect bins were a hit. As WWD reports today, the retailer has collected 7.7 million pounds of recycled clothing from its customers over the last year. And, while you might've thought you'd never see your loved, worn, and lost friends again, the Swedish fashion brand has turned your oldies into new treasures. The result is the H&M recycled-denim collection launching in stores toward the end of February.

The small collection of jeans, jackets, and vests has been created with repurposed materials — a nod to H&M's continuing efforts to maintain an eco-friendly brand. And, judging from the images released today on WWD, we have to say that recycling looks pretty sweet. The designs include all of our favorite classic shapes such as slim-fit jeans in a number of washes and boxy toppers that make for the ultimate spring staple — or an anytime layering piece.
