This A.P.C. Collab Started On A School Playground — Really

A camouflage parka, coffee-bean prints, kid-approved designer denim, and Nikes for small feet — sounds like the makings of a pretty cute collection, right? Well, it's all part of the children's capsule line between A.P.C. and children's clothier Bonton, and its origin might be even more adorable than the resulting collaboration.
Lily Touitou and Alice Cohen, the 9-year-old daughters of the A.P.C. and Bonton founders, respectively, are real-life schoolyard besties. (We're guessing they both share killer elementary-school style.) Brought together by their friendship, parents Jean and Judith Touitou and Thomas and Irène Cohen partnered up to deliver this spirited line of mini versions of the "adult" A.P.C. line. The spring '14 collection for ages 4 through 12 includes unisex outerwear, sweatshirts, a skirt, jeans, scarves, and A.P.C. + Nike for tots.
What's more, the two muses for the A.P.C.-Bonton collab are models in the lookbook! Lily (middle, pictured), Alice (left, pictured), and a super-cool little dude show us how to work these pieces. Click through to scope out all the looks that are undoubtedly too cool for school.
