Grammys Looks That Hit The Right Notes

In the world of celebrities who wear clothing (which is everyone except Miley Cyrus whenever she gets too close to a wrecking ball), the musicians tend to deviate a little further, more aggressively, and with more élan than their actress counterparts. Chalk it up to their innate love of the spotlight: If there's one place where people want to stand out on the red carpet, it's the Grammys.

This often means gowns (or gown-things) look more like messes than dresses, but these days, you don't have to wear a bird on your head and drop-crotch, bedazzled, satin shorts in order to feel like you're making a statement.
