It used to be that a macaron craving meant a trip uptown. Don't get us wrong: We love a chance to get all Gossip Girl and stroll the Madison Avenue-meets-East-70s 'hood. The Ladurée call is simply too tempting to resist. Luckily, the owners of Ladurée understand we are addicted to the French dessert boutique, and so they have opened a new location in Soho.
What's amazing about the new pastry spot is that it's also a tea salon and restaurant. So, you can quite literally go there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Plus, the Soho location offers a full bar as well as a boutique of fine gourmet products and accessories. Is it alarmingly close to our office? Yes. And, we couldn't be happier. Click through for a preview of all the pretty.
Ladurée Soho Tea Salon & Restaurant, 396 W. Broadway (at Spring Street); 646-392-7868.
