Lorde, help us! V's annual music issue has arrived and the folks of the larger-than-life glossy have not one, but four magical covers to covet, frame, and maybe worship.
Either someone at V knows the key to our hearts or we just happen to think on the same wavelengths. (Hey, you know what they say about great minds...) Our pop stars with consequence — Lorde, BANKS, HAIM, and Say Lou Lou — get their own Inez & Vinoodh covers. And, man, do they look good. Lorde's hair has a life of its own (so many secrets beneath there!), BANKS channels Marc Jacobs' disco divas, HAIM does HAIM, while Say Lou Lou transforms into pensive, celestial goddesses. It's an ode to the alternative pop stars that are slowly changing our perception of the genre.
The issue hits stands February 27, and promises to be something pretty epic. Lady Gaga (V's go-to gal), Robyn, Erykah Badu, Lea Michele, Bryan Ferry, and a slew of others all get their time to shine inside. If salivating over the names before we even get our greedy hands on the issue is wrong, we don't ever want to be right. (V)
