They're removing harsh chemicals from their baby shampoo.
The Telegraph just posted that under considerable consumer pressure, the No More Tears formula has gotten rid of a whole host of questionable ingredients, completely eliminating formaldehyde, 1,4-dioxane, and quaternium-15, a preservative that releases formaldehyde. It's the biggest green initiative by a large consumer brand to date and cause for celebration. Shower time is that much safer.
Even those who aren't moms can appreciate this move towards safer formulations: Baby shampoo can be used for everything from washing delicate hair to cleaning makeup brushes. We still have a long way to go making, but this win brings us one step closer to a truly beautiful world.
