Kanye West is writing a biopic. Let that sink in for a hot second because who he's collaborating with will either cause major eye rolls, a surround-sound guffaw, or both. Here goes: Yeezy's joined forces with he of Canyons fame, Bret Easton Ellis. Oh, and Kim Kardashian will star in the film, obviously. Holy pop-culture overload, Batman!
Radar got the exclusive on the Yeezus-inspired project and spoke to a source who explained that, though West won't star in the film (screenwriting is clearly more prestigious than acting), "Kim is definitely going to be in it. The screenplay already features her character." How large of a role Kanye's betrothed will play in the movie he's reportedly dedicating to his mother is, however, up in the air. Radar's insider said, "it’s unclear at this point if Kim will be a major star of the movie or making a smaller cameo. But, her role in the movie will be pivotal." Ooh, is she the one that changes West for the better? First one to get a think-piece up on how the creation of "Kimye" has reformed the rap game's resident prince wins a high five from down low. Go ahead, play pop-culture oracle in the comments. (Radar)
