Johnny Weir & Tara Lipinski Take On 30 Rock Ice Skaters

You never know who could be watching the next time you lace up your blades. Average Joes and Janes skating at the Rockefeller Center ice rink learned that the hard way this week. Turns out none other than our favorite Winter Olympics dream team, figure-skating-pros-turned-commentators Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir were standing by to offer up their critiques for Late Night With Seth Meyers. Constructive? Mmm. Hilarious? Most def.
Sadly, the civilians unwittingly performing in the 30 Rock Lunchtime Figure-Skating Olympics weren't exactly Sochi caliber. Hair-flipping, skate-walking, texting on the ice, more face-plants than a Jennifer Lawrence Oscars appearance? Yikes.
Then again, we do sort of love/hate the "bad boy of figure skating" who brazenly cuts off other skaters as he glides across the rink. Word to the wise: Even 30 Rock has its Tonya Hardings. (Uproxx)
