We'll say it again: Preach, Beyoncé. Somehow, the singer always knows exactly what to say. And, that's no different in her latest PSA. Queen Bey teamed up with Sheryl Sandberg's Lean In foundation to spread the word of female empowerment. Jennifer Garner, Jane Lynch, Diane von Furstenberg, and Condoleezza Rice also joined in. The new campaign seeks to ban "bossy," calling it out as a negative term used against women who are successful and goal-oriented. As Lynch puts it in the commercial, the word is a "squasher."
According to team Lean In, by middle school, girls are less interested in leadership because of fear of this very label. Bey and her pals are aiming to encourage girls to be strong leaders, starting with this inspirational video. After all, who doesn't get a little tingly listening to Beyoncé wax poetic?
