5 Relationship Lessons We Learned From The NFL Free Agency Craze

The #NFLFreeAgency kicked off yesterday, and things got real — and fast. More than 20 free agents were scooped up within the first 30 minutes. And, at least 10 of those happened within the first five minutes. Crazy, no? Even crazier is trying to keep up with all the action. Indeed, things are probably changing as we write this post. (Hint: Follow @AdamSchefter on Twitter, because he seems to know things before they even happen.) As a result, enthusiasts and commentators alike have taken a retrospective angle on the whole thing. It just seems easier to digest all the wheeling and dealing after it's gone down.

Sure, the free agency was a bit of a business frenzy. But, we also found it to be an excellent reminder of how we conduct things in our own lives. Namely, with dating. The players are essentially in a relationship with their respective teams, and so the madness of the past 24 hours served up a solid set of takeaways we can apply to our love lives.
