American Apparel Unleashes Its Inner Kooky In This New Collab

We have to hand it to American Apparel. When we even think of its name, our mind slips to basics. Black leggings, solid tanks, and, yes, a few unitards for those who are fans of spandex. But, the brand really does know how to jump outside the box. And, its latest collaboration takes designs far from classic wardrobe staples and all the way to kooky.
American Apparel has teamed with Nathalie Du Pasquier, one of the original founding members of the Memphis design collection, which consisted of artists and furniture and product makers. And, utilizing Du Pasquier's brightly colored, geometric, and abstract work, the retailer has created a capsule collection that's far from its popular, basic fare. The collection features prints in small and large scale splashed across full skirts, jumpsuits, and crop tops. And, in case you're not a fan of displaying such vivid patterns on your own body, American Apparel is also offering Du Pasquier-printed blankets that'll really give your apartment the Memphis-approved touch you always wanted.
