We've all been there: lost luggage, delayed flights, and general travel woes. But, according to a recent study, there's one airline that's least likely to give its customers mile-high migraines. Virgin America has nabbed the coveted title of best airline in the U.S. — for the second time in a row.
The annual airline report, conducted by Brent Bowen and Dean Headley at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Wichita State University, analyzed a number of factors, including on-time flights, baggage handling, and customer complaints. (No word on whether Virgin's genius safety music video gave the airline a boost — that should definitely count, right?) JetBlue, Hawaiian Airlines, Delta, and Alaska Airlines rounded out the top five. Planning a trip? Head over to Gawker to see which other airlines made the cut.
So, folks, do you agree with the list?
