Courtney Love Does Something Shocking During Nirvana’s Hall Of Fame Induction

Since the death of Kurt Cobain, Courtney Love has frequently been at odds with his former Nirvana bandmates, Krist Noveselić and Dave Grohl. From bizarre accusations to arguments over band rights, plenty of unpleasant episodes have soured their relationship. (Though, who hasn't Courtney Love feuded with?) Compounded by the long-standing rumor that Courtney hired someone to murder her husband (a rumor this writer thinks is beyond absurd, especially after the recent revelations from the Seattle P.D.), Nirvana fans have had a pretty brutal relationship with Ms. Love.
But, last night, when Nirvana was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Courtney let the bandmates, as well as Kurt's mother, take the stage. When she spoke at the end, rather than saying something inflammatory, Court kept the speech surprisingly simple and heartfelt, referring to the band members and her former mother-in-law as family. Though she was booed by the audience (see above re: Nirvana fans), Love quickly paid her tribute and then embraced a slightly befuddled Dave Grohl in an attempt to quash the beef between them.

Later that night, she tweeted:
As a show of good faith, Noveselić (who has always kept above the fray) politely responded:
And the most surprising moment? This bear hug between two members of rock royalty.
Hell has frozen over.
