Easiest Makeup Removal EVER — Save Face & Time

Ask any dermatologist, esthetician, or skin care guru, "What's the golden rule for complexion?" They'll all agree — it's makeup removal. Whether you're wearing a coat of mascara or full-face coverage, it’s imperative that you take it all off at the end of the day. Even those of you with flawless skin (Miranda Kerr, I’m looking at you) still need to cleanse your face at night — or you won't want to #WakeUpLikeThat.
That said, makeup removal has never been my cup of tea. Do I want to look amazing? Hell, yes. Do I want to perfectly cleanse my face at the end of a long day? Not when my bed, another five episodes of Friday Night Lights, and one too many bags of popcorn are calling my name.

Thankfully, I discovered a go-to makeup removal method using only coconut oil and a micellar water. I love Bioderma Crealine H2O Micelle Solution because it’s made for sensitive skin like mine. I start by taking a dollop of coconut oil from Trader Joe’s and massaging it into my skin for about 30 seconds. This breaks down all of my makeup — even pesky-to-remove waterproof mascara — and leaves my skin feeling moisturized and soft. (There's a reason this stuff has legions of famous fans.)
Next, I drench a large cotton round, preferably an exfoliating one, with my micellar water and remove what remains. The water is ultra-gentle and expunges all traces of product. Voilà. Simple, fast, totally effective, and perfect for ladies like me (a.k.a. a little lazy and a lot in love with Tim Riggins).
