Selena Just Made Everything Awkward

We won't even pretend to understand the complexities of celebrity friendships. One day you're Paris and Nicole, the next you're, um....Paris and Nicole. On the other hand, we are starting to get why Taylor Swift has so many back-up besties. If Instagram is an indicator, her friendship with former BFF Selena Gomez may have fallen by the wayside.

According to those who get paid to notice these sorts of things, Gomez has been on an unfollowing spree on the photo-sharing app. Taylor Swift? Out. Justin Bieber? Out (and good riddance). Also gone are the Coachella selfies she took with Kendall and Kylie Jenner just two weekends ago, sparking speculation that the Mini Kardashians are also personae non gratae. There is still one group shot remaining, and Kylie has a pic of her and Gomez hanging out last week (see above). (Can somebody just create a flow chart for us so we can keep track of all this?)

Since leaving rehab in January, Gomez has spoken out against bad influences and peer pressure. Do these celebs fit the bill, or is she just doing a little social media spring cleaning? Inquiring minds want to know, yo. (MTV)
