Bad news in Royal World, folks: Prince Harry and Cressida Bonas have called it quits. The couple, who many speculated would marry, have split after two years.
A source close to the Prince (the kind that goes running straight to the U.S. rumor mill) confirmed the news to People. "He found her too needy," the magazine reports the source said, "and it just wasn't working out." Way harsh, Tai. This comes just months after friends close to the couple were saying Harry had plans of proposing to the recent dance-studies graduate.
The pair was hardly ever seen together in public, but since they've recently participated in royal activities at royal events with other royalty, buzz over a second royal wedding in three years began to build. People, however, says that Prince Harry was off meeting with hopeful Invictus Games participants this week sans Bonas. She was, according to the magazine, spotted sipping a healthy snack at a common restaurant. Maybe now she'll report back to whatever (fictional) totally underground, Harry Potter-themed girl-band she fell out of. Cressida Bonas and the Amortentias? Cressy & the Bonas Bros.? (People)
