Some wise person once said that laughter is the best medicine. What this wise person forgot to mention is that it is Lupita Nyong'o's laughter specifically that is actually the best medicine.
The Oscar-winning actress stopped by the set of Plaza Sésamo, the Spanish-language edition of Sesame Street, to honor Smile Day. “Hello, I’m Lupita," she says in Spanish, one of the five languages Nyong'o speaks. "Today I want us to celebrate Smile Day." She then invites her audience to laugh with her. "Ready, 1, 2, 3! [laughs]” (Side note: If this short clip doesn't spawn a television and/or web-series called Laughing With Lupita, something's wrong with the world.)
It has yet to be scientifically proven, but this laugh probably contains the answers to life's most pressing question: What is love? Did we really land on the moon?
